This is a full front view of the 1938 Delahaye 165. One of my favorites from that era. The sub-d model was created in Modo from blueprints I found on SMCARs. I also used lots of reference pics found elsewhere on the web. I then imported into Maya and added sub-d approximation attributes before renering with Mental Ray. Lighting is done with luminous panels and FG rendering. I would be interested in hear how others use Maya and MR for auto rendering. Hope you like the image.
